About Us

Tom (Owner/Builder)

Due to the large number of young people returning to the trades, Gen Z has earned the title of the "tool belt" generation. Tom is no exception to this generational "rule". Throughout his career, he's worked with two general contractors, a framing crew, and a concrete company. Tom left Ottawa, Canada, in 2021 and moved to Arizona to be with his now-wife, Erika. He began building custom wood and metal furniture and, by late 2022, was laying the groundwork for his full-time cabinetry business.

When he's not building or designing cabinetry, he enjoys making music. You can find his artists —Tom Rado, LONELYHOUR, The Trash Pandas, and Aviv— available to stream on Spotify. He also loves camping, reading, writing, and spending time with his son, Levi.

Erika (Owner/sales)

Unlike Gen Z, Millennials (including Erika) largely chose to work with their minds. Erika found herself tipity-tip-tap-typing her way to leadership in the sales department of a large payroll company. Her eight years of sales experience have made her a client-focused, detail-oriented facilitator of clients' needs. In her spare time, Erika enjoys classic '90s movies, playing the cello, and being a mama to her son, Levi.

Tom and Erika may not be generational “rule” breakers, but if your project requires old-school attention to detail and a new-school sales process, Acacia Cabinets is here for you and excited to get started.
